My name is Emily (Em) Donahue, and I am currently a PhD Candidate at Arkansas State University. My dissertation work investigates the impacts of agricultural toxin exposure on wildlife. Loggerhead Shrikes in agricultural areas of NE Arkansas are my current study system. Aside from impacts of toxins, I am also monitoring their long-term survival, site fidelity, and reproductive success. I am interested in combining both field and lab work to understand mechanistic workings at the cellular level and use that make inferences about individual- and population-level health and behavior.

Dissertation: Exploring Breeding Ecology and Potential Physiological Effects of Pesticide Exposure in Agricultural Loggerhead Shrikes.
